Fishmeal is a ground, powdered product, resulting from partial degreasing and drying by thermal process of fish and parts of fish.
The animal waste used is originated in establishments supervised by
Competent Bodies. Its processing takes place according to the rules of the Ministry of Agriculture
, Livestock and Supply (MAPA). Antioxidants can be used to prevent oxidation
of the fats present. It is a safe product, which contains high protein value, excellent digestibility
and palatability, and can also be rich in essential fatty acids (omegas 3, 6, and 9).
Fishmeal is marketed in sacks, bigbags and in bulk.
